Getting your first order on Fiverr in 2026 is the hardest part. I created my first Fiverr account in October 2025 and got zero orders for 45 days. I had good skills but my gig was invisible. First understand Fiverr algorithm in 2026. Fiverr does not show new gigs on first page. It shows new gigs on page 5-10 for first 3 days to test. If your gig gets clicks and saves in those 3 days, Fiverr pushes it to page 2-3. If you get first order and 5 star review in first 7 days, Fiverr pushes it to page 1. So first 3 days are most important. Most beginners fail because they create gig and wait. You must bring traffic to gig in first 3 days yourself.
Your gig title must have low competition keyword + high demand. Do not use title "I will design logo". Competition 50,000 gigs, you will never rank. Use long tail keyword: "I will design 3 modern minimalist luxury logos for clothing brand in 24 hours". Competition only 800 gigs, easy to rank. How to find low competition keyword? Go to Fiverr search, type "logo design" and see suggested keywords: "minimalist logo for clothing", "luxury logo for perfume". Use one of those suggested. Your gig image must be better than top sellers. I made gig image in Canva with 3 parts: Left side my best 3 designs, middle big text "3 MODERN LOGOS IN 24H", right side 5 star and fast delivery icon. Use bright colors yellow and black. Add gig video of 30 seconds showing your portfolio with music. Gigs with video get 200% more orders than without video. I made video in CapCut free in 10 minutes: Screen recording of my Canva designs with text. Add 3 packages: Basic $10 for 1 logo, Standard $25 for 3 logos + source file, Premium $45 for 3 logos + brand guide + social media kit. Keep Basic cheap to get first order fast. Add FAQ with 5 questions, add keywords in FAQ also.
Fiverr will not give you traffic in first 3 days, you must bring yourself. My secret method: Go to Facebook groups "Logo Design", "Startup Founders", "Small Business Owners". Post your gig with message: "I am new designer offering 3 modern logos for $10 for first 3 clients to get reviews, normally $40. Portfolio in gig." I posted in 10 groups, got 34 clicks to my Fiverr gig in 1 day. Also go to LinkedIn, search "startup founder", message 20 founders daily: "Hi, I saw your startup, I can design modern logo for you in 24 hours for $10 as new seller discount". 2 out of 20 replied. Also use Quora: Search "Where to get cheap logo?", answer with your gig link. This external traffic tells Fiverr algorithm your gig is popular, so Fiverr pushes it up. I also used Fiverr's own "Buyer Request" section now called "Briefs" - I sent 10 offers daily with personalized message, not copy paste.
When buyer comes to your gig, they check reviews first. You have zero reviews, so you must remove risk. Add in gig description: "100% money back guarantee if you don't like design, unlimited revisions till you are happy, 24 hour delivery". This removes fear. Also be online 18 hours daily in first 7 days. Fiverr shows green dot when you are online, and pushes online sellers higher in search. I was online from 9 AM to 2 AM with Fiverr mobile app. When buyer messages, reply within 5 minutes, not 5 hours. Fast response increases conversion 70%. My first buyer messaged at 11 PM, I replied in 2 minutes with "Hi, yes I can do your clothing logo in 12 hours with 3 concepts, do you have any reference?" He ordered in 10 minutes. After delivering, I gave extra: I delivered 4 logos instead of 3 and also gave social media kit free worth $20. He was so happy he gave 5 star review with long text: "Amazing designer, over delivered, highly recommended". That long review helped me get next 5 orders because buyers trust long reviews.
After first order, ask buyer politely for review: "Thanks for order, if you like my work please leave 5 star review, it helps me as new seller". Most buyers leave 5 star if you over deliver. After first 5 star review, your gig will jump to page 2. Then orders will come automatically. My 2nd order came without any marketing, just from Fiverr search. After 5 reviews, I increased price from $10 to $20 and still got orders because social proof was there. In first 30 days I made $210 with 14 orders, profit $168 after Fiverr 20% fee.
